Ed Stevenson will be speaking on:
Alameda County Water District Update
There are two key things you rely on your water agency to provide you: the quality of water you demand, and the quantity of water you need. During this talk, Alameda County Water District (ACWD) General Manager Ed Stevenson returns to the Niles Rotary Club to talk about what ACWD is doing to ensure you have both. The month of August is “International Water Quality Awareness Month,” and Ed will talk about the quality of your drinking water. And, as everyone knows, California and the west remain in an unprecedented drought which is heading toward its fourth year. Ed will talk about how we are doing collectively to weather the drought – and to deal with a changing climate ahead.
